The UK, Denmark and Sweden are the only EU countries that have opted out of joining the Euro at it's beginning.

Whether you are for or against the Euro and single currency, please vote in our on line poll. Joining the Euro will be one of the biggest political issues to be resolved at the beginning of this new millennium. If you are anti, you may feel that the government will use their commons majority to push it through regardless of the views of the population and if you are for it, you may feel that we should have entered at the beginning to get a seat at the european political top table.
